Made for teachers, by teachers

Every teacher deserves a coach.

3R AI Coach listens to real lessons and gives real feedback — in the voice of a coach with 20 years in the classroom. Built to give under-resourced districts the coaching that well-funded ones take for granted.

Built on Angel Staley’s coaching framework, drawn from her real evaluations across 20 years in the classroom.

Coach’s note LOVE the partner share — every student was accountable, not just the hand-raisers. Before you moved on, though, I only saw you check with two kids. Try a quick thumbs 1–5 so you can see who’s got it.

The problem

The best coaching goes to the schools that need it least.

Instructional coaching works. The problem is who gets it. Well-funded districts hire coaches, mentors, and specialists. Rural and under-resourced schools are asked to do the same job with a fraction of the support.

Their teachers aren’t the problem — they’re stretched thin. Too many hats, too little time, and often no coach in the building at all. One coach can’t sit in every room, and most schools don’t have one to begin with. So real feedback comes a couple times a year, if it comes at all.

3R AI Coach exists to close that gap — to put an expert coach in every teacher’s corner on the days a human one can’t be there. Not to add one more thing to their plate. To take something off it.

A single coach’s reach
Reached this week Waiting for feedback

One coach can’t be in every room — and most schools don’t have one at all.

The difference

Most tools make your one coach faster. We are the coach.

Observation apps hand your principal a slicker clipboard. But a principal split across three buildings still can’t coach thirty teachers. 3R doesn’t speed up your one coach — it gives every teacher their own.

Other tools
  • A faster note-taker for whoever’s observing
  • Still one coach, stretched across a handful of teachers
  • Feedback only when someone’s in the room
3R AI Coach
  • The coach itself — in every teacher’s pocket
  • Every teacher, every lesson, every day
  • Feedback even when the principal is across town
“Routine is regulation.” “Firm first, friends later.” “Everything must have purpose.”

Ask the coach anything

Between classes, during planning, or at nine at night. It opens with the questions teachers actually start with, asks a clarifying question before advising, and keeps every past conversation saved in the sidebar.

I have a student who shuts down when redirected.
Behavior is communication. Shutting down usually means “I’m stuck” or “this feels too big.” Try proximity first — walk toward them before you say anything.

Plan the lesson — and get coached while you do

Describe the lesson and hit Draft with AI for a structured first draft, or write it yourself. Either way the fields coach you: the objective wants “Today we will ___ so we can ___,” materials say over-prepare — list everything, and checks must be overt and measurable. Then attach the Missouri Learning Standards it targets.

Teach, and hit record

Pick the plan you just made from the dropdown — or skip it entirely and jump straight to recording. Then press record and teach the way you always do. Audio only, no camera, nothing that changes the room. If the phone locks or the tab closes mid-lesson, the recording survives.

Set goals and reflect

Every evaluation ends with numbered goals for the next lesson and a box for the one thing you’ll change. Two minutes. That reflection is what turns feedback into a different lesson tomorrow — and the next evaluation checks whether it stuck.

Watch the green grow

Every evaluation becomes a bar, oldest to newest, and the next report opens by telling you what improved since the last one. Teachers don’t see a grade — they see a trajectory, area by area, across the whole year.

The framework

Six things a great lesson gets right.

3R doesn’t grade against a generic rubric. These are the six areas Angel coaches on, distilled from 20 years of her real classroom evaluations — the things that decide whether a lesson lands, in any subject and any grade.

01

Attention Strategies

Countdowns, learning-position cues, and clear threshold expectations that win the room before the lesson starts.

02

Lesson Preparation

Materials ready and intentional before students arrive — because scrambling for handouts costs real instruction time.

03

Clear Learning Goals

“Today we will ___ so we can ___.” Stated at the start, referenced in the middle, revisited at the end.

04

Time Management

Brain breaks, rhythmic transitions, and bell-to-bell learning that keeps energy and pace where they need to be.

05

Student Engagement

Every student participating — not just the volunteers. Turn-and-talk, partner shares, and watching the quiet kids.

06

Checks for Understanding

Before, during, and after — overt responses from all students, used as data to drive the next move.

Tied to real standards.

Teachers attach Missouri Learning Standards to a lesson plan, and the coaching checks what was actually delivered against what was planned.

It remembers.

Each evaluation carries forward the goals from the last one — so the coaching follows up instead of starting over.

For the office that signs the check

The teacher story sells it. The admin view closes it.

Principals, superintendents, and curriculum directors see the whole district at a glance — who’s growing, who’s reflecting, and the return on every dollar.

  • District-wide growth in one viewWatch scores climb across every teacher, building, and grade over the year.
  • See who’s actually engagingReflection completion at a glance — know which teachers are in the loop and which need a nudge.
  • Strengths and gaps by areaSpot the district’s weak spot — and aim your PD dollars where they’ll matter.
  • Manage your own rosterInvite teachers by email, see who’s active, and remove access when someone leaves — no support ticket required.
  • Accountability without surveillanceFramed as support for teacher growth — not a system for policing performance.

Why 3R

Not another AI tool. A coach.

Generic chatbots can generate a lesson plan. They can’t listen to you teach, remember last week, or sound like someone who’s done this for twenty years.

Real expertise, baked in

Angel’s voice, phrases, and framework are the product — not a blank rubric you’re handed and left to figure out.

It remembers

Every evaluation builds on the last and follows up on the goals you set — the way real coaching works over a year.

Growth, not surveillance

Scoring celebrates progress and frames the next step gently. It supports teachers — it doesn’t police them.

Coaching before the lesson, too

The planner walks a teacher through objective, materials, activities, and checks the way a coach would — then the evaluation follows up on the plan they actually made.

The expertise behind it

Built by a teacher, for teachers.

3R AI Coach isn’t generic advice with a friendly name. Its judgment, its voice, and its framework come straight from Angel Staley’s two decades in real classrooms — and ten years coaching other teachers through theirs.

Angel McNabb Staley

Founder & CEO, 3R Educational Solutions

Twenty-plus years as a classroom teacher and a decade as an instructional coach in rural Missouri — exactly the kind of under-resourced schools 3R is built for. The AI Coach is trained on her framework, her phrasing, and the patterns from her real evaluations. When 3R gives feedback, it’s her method talking.

The value

Coaching your district can actually afford.

Real instructional coaching has always been a luxury of well-funded districts. The math says it doesn’t have to be.

Traditional PD
$8,300+

  • A workshop a few times a year
  • Reaches only about a third of teachers effectively
  • Gone the moment everyone goes home

  • Feedback on the lessons they actually teach
  • Growth you can measure, all year long

Pay for it with money you already have.

3R AI Coach is eligible for Title I and Title II funding — the federal dollars many districts already spend on teacher development. For a cash-strapped district, that’s the difference between “someday” and “this year.”

Questions districts ask

Straight answers.

Are you recording my students?
No. 3R captures audio of the teacher’s instruction only — there’s no video, and no student names or personal information. It’s about how the lesson was taught, not who was in the room.
How long does it take to set up?
Your administrator invites teachers by email and they set their own password — a teacher can record their first lesson the day they log in. There’s no hardware and no installation; it runs on the phone already in their pocket.
Does this replace our instructional coach?
No — it extends them. Where you have a coach, 3R multiplies their reach so they can focus their time where it counts. Where you don’t, every teacher finally gets one.
How does this fit our state standards?
The Missouri Learning Standards for math and ELA are built in — teachers attach them to a lesson plan, and the coaching checks what was actually taught against what was planned. The six coaching areas score how the lesson was delivered, which holds no matter which standards a district teaches to. Additional standard sets are added on request.
What about teachers who don’t want to be “graded”?
3R isn’t an HR evaluation and it doesn’t feed a personnel file. Every report leads with what went well and suggests one next step. We’re also upfront with teachers about what leadership sees: scores and reflections are visible to their district admins, the same as a coach’s notes would be. What it isn’t is a camera in the room — and no one is ranked against anyone else.
How is our data protected?
Every district’s data is isolated at the database level, not just hidden in the interface — one district cannot see another’s teachers, evaluations, or plans. Lesson recordings are stored privately and readable only by the teacher who made them. Inactive sessions log out automatically. A short technical overview is available for your IT team on request.
